In 6th Grade Math, students use a variety of strategies, resources, tools and technology to reason, solve and prove real life mathematical problems. Units include Data and Statistics, Integers and Integer Operations, Numerical Reasoning, Fraction and Decimal Operations, Ratios, Rates and Percents, Expressions and Equations, Inequalities, Multiple Representations, Two-Dimensional Figures and Measurement, STAAR Review, and Rational Number Operations.
Make-Up Work Policy:
If a student is absent, the student has (3) three days upon returning from the absence to complete make-up work. If a student has been absent for more than one day, you can either e-mail the teachers or contact the counselor’s secretary at 512-414-5417 to request the student’s work. Teachers require 24-hour notice. After contacting the school, the work can be picked up the following day.
Late Work:
Late work will be accepted up to three days after the due date. After three days, the work will no longer be accepted, except in special circumstances, such as an extended illness.
